I am saddened to report the loss of my GoPro.  In short, I changed the position of my slate (with GoPro attached) on the surface swim out, and forgot to lock the S-biner to my BC.  Locked, it’s the best S-biner I’ve used.  Unlocked, it doesn’t do much.  If any courageous divers venture North of North Monastery Beach in Carmel, California, be on the lookout for a large slate with a GoPro.  Both have my contact information.  It was lost at about 65’, but is likely to have sank well below 120’.

I’m planning on buying a more dedicated underwater camera as a replacement soon.  In the meantime, here are a few pictures I was able to capture with my battle scarred GoPro Hero 3 Black.  RIP GoPro!
